One client did surprise us with a monster of a ghost writing challenge. One day in June, 2007, we received a call from a man who said he needed a 300-page book manuscript written within two weeks. That's a nearly impossible task for any single writer, but Michael (the partner who fields the initial calls) explained that we could assign chapter groups to individual experienced ghost writers. Eric Shapiro, our chief writer, would provide instructions to assure the consistency of style across the entire work, and of course he would also do the final edit. We finished the project on time. And this was the client response: "I am very impressed with what your team did in the time frame you were given. Meeting or exceeding expectations is a lost craft but you guys nailed it."

Ghost writing for books, memoirs
and newsletters: From* $50 per double-spaced page.
Screen writing: From* $50 per minute or screenplay page.
Speech writing: From* $50 per minute or double-spaced page.
Rewriting an existing manuscript:
From* $30 per double-spaced page.
Editing: From* $10 per double-spaced page.
NOTE: *These are our base prices,
however additional fees will apply in the event the client desires high-priority
project completion, editing outside the usual parameters, or developmental
assistance. Rates for promotional materials such as resumes, cover letters,
CVs, treatments, synopses, etc. are configured on an hourly basis.
Turnaround time: Ten to 30 days on most projects, three to six months
on book and screenplay projects. RAPID TURNAROUND IS AVAILABLE.
Research: Clients must provide detailed notes, a detailed outline, or
an audio recording. We can aid in the creation of these materials. (Watch

Editorial review: Client may request one free round of changes on the
spelling, grammar, word choice, and punctuation of the completed work.
